Today I went to work, pretty early for my standards, but I guess quite late for Vietnamese standard as the whole office was full when I got there. I will probably never be the one getting the most comfortable seat.. I spent the whole day correcting banners and posters and flyers for our big event coming up, and realised in the end that a lot of what I had been doing had a fault in it and that I will be doing it all over again tomorrow. Brilliant…….

The bright side of the day was a nice dinner with a mix of Australian, English, American, Vietnamese and Irish people which were very interesting to talk to as we were a mix of people who have lived here for 7 years and me who has just arrived. On my way home from dinner, though, I thought I took a Honda om, but when the guy had no idea about where I was going I got off and walked for a bit. He kept following me and didn’t understand why I didn’t want him to take me home, but in the end I managed to make him go away.. I found a very nice driver that gave me the right price – and what I think was his daughter followed us the whole way. Thank you intuition! Goodnight..
